1. Welcome and Introduction
Communications Officer and Wildlife project group leader, Lynn, welcomed attendees to the AGM on behalf of the committee. Lynn introduced current committee members present, Neil (Treasurer), Fiona (Secretary) and Jules (Ethical project group leader) and new Rivers & Brooks project group leader, Yasmina. The role of chair had remained vacant since the last AGM. There were 30 attendees in total.
2. Apologies
Apologies for absence had been received from Safeguarding Officer (and former Chair), Sue.
3. Approval of the Annual Report and Financial Accounts
The Annual Report 2025/26 and a summary of our financial accounts were approved unanimously by members present – see TDEG Annual Report 2025-2026
4. To elect the members of the Committee
Nominations had been received for six members of the TDEG committee. There were no nominees for the roles of Chair, Climate Action project group leader or Recycling project group leader. All nominees were elected by members present.

The AGM closed at 7.47pm.
For the second part of the evening, the meeting heard two presentations on Dairy Farming and the Environment, and this was followed by questions and discussion. A summary and the presentation slides can be found here.
