The People’s Emergency Briefing

Our friends at Bakewell Climate Action have arranged a screening of “The People’s Emergency Briefing” on Friday, 26 June at 7pm in Bakewell Town Hall.

Fronted by naturalist and broadcaster Chris Packham, this 50-minute film sets out, in plain terms, what the science says about how a changing climate and declining nature are already affecting British life – from rising food prices and human health to national security. A discussion about what can be done about these issues, with our local MP, John Whitby, will follow the film.
