- One area our group recently focused on was fashion. Discussion outcomes can be seen on the group’s Facebook page. The group came up with 5 Ways to Make a Difference: Buy second hand clothing; buy less clothing; opt for Fairtrade products; purchase organically made clothes; and avoid animal materials in clotjhing.
- We look forward to Ruth Strange from Ethical Consumer talking about the fashion industry and sustainable clothing at our next whole TDEG meeting in June. This will be followed, at some point, with a Choose to Reuse Clothes Swap/Sale event at FSC– date and details to be confirmed. Watch this space!
