Climate Pathfinders Youth Forum

Improving the local environment

Young people can be influential and powerful, especially when they work together.

The Climate Pathfinders Youth Forum (CPYF) is a platform for young people with a passion for the environment and who care for the future of the climate.

We share a common purpose and will drive action for positive environmental change.

Climate Pathfinders Youth Forum Priorities

We have three priorities:

  • Take local action to improve the environment for nature and promote eco-friendly lifestyles.
  • Tell decision makers about the future world we want to live in and persuade them to make pro-environmental decisions.
  • Spread the word for people to join us and inspire them to take positive action for the climate.

CPYF’s First Action

Working with Peak District National Park Rangers, the High Peak & Derbyshire Dales Climate Pathfinders Youth Forum met in person for the first time on a glorious June Sunday morning. Our environmental remit? To survey what is living in the Tideswell Dale stream, and then we joined TDEG’s litter pick event in the afternoon.
